uPVC Windows
Fresh Style Double-glazed uPVC windows are made by leading manufacturers of windows. They are often finished in white, however you can also choose wood effect finishes, although these can deteriorate quicker than the traditional white finishes.
Double glazed windows reduce the noise pollution from outside and condensation is virtually non-existent. They can help reduce your heating costs by eliminating draughts and heat loss which in turn is beneficial to the environment.
Fresh Style double-glazed uPVC windows are made by leading manufacturers and are constructed from extruded polyester sections. They have been used for many years in the UK for both new and replacement windows. uPVC frames have the colour impregnated all the way through and they are maintenance-free and will not corrode or fade.
Security is a big concern with many people and your uPVC window frames are very secure with locking handles fitted as standard.
Aluminium Windows
Fresh Style Double-glazed Aluminium Windows are a far cry away from the types used many years ago.
Modern aluminium windows have a high thermal efficiency and are available in a wide range of colours. They are durable and are easily maintained - no painting and can be wiped over with a damp cloth to restore them to their original look.
Window Styles
Fresh Style have a number of window types to choose from and below are a few of the popular types:
Sliding Sash Windows
These are more traditional with large glass areas sliding top and bottom sashes which give good ventilation because the cool air comes in at the bottom and the warm air exist at the top. Sashes can also be tilted once opened and this allows for emergency escape and also to make cleaning easy.
Tilt & Turn Windows
These are gaining more popularity in the UK. The tilt provides adequate ventilation for the room whilst the turn provides full side opening which can also be a means of escape.
Casement Windows
Opening outward and so allowing the room to open up to the outside giving lots of fresh air and light. These are energy efficient windows and are a good choice for difficult to reach areas.
Awning windows
Good for all year round air flow and are hinged at the top .
Double hung Windows
Do not have parts that open outwards and so if there are limitations in space then this could be a good choice.
